Vice President
Dr. Abdisalam Abdulahi Mohamed
Dr. Abdisalam Abdulahi Mohamed is the Vice President for Academic and Research Affairs at the University of Kabridahar and an Assistant Professor of Agricultural and Development Economics. He earned his B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Jimma University, M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Ambo University, holds Ph.D. degrees in Managerial Economics from the Indian Management School (affiliated with University of Pune, India) and in Development Studies from the University of South Africa.
His professional journey includes academic roles at Ambo and Raya Universities, service as an Expert at the Somali Regional State Revenue Bureau, and leadership as Country Director for GFSRD. With 30+ published research outputs and membership in over 12 national and international professional associations, Dr. Abdisalam is committed to advancing academic excellence, fostering innovation, and strengthening research capacity to support regional and national development.
