The Association of African Universities (AAU) is a non-governmental international organization that was founded in 1967 with the goal of providing a platform for African universities and becoming a voice for African higher education institutions. The AAU is headquartered in Accra, Ghana, and currently has over 400 member universities from across Africa. University of Kebri Dehar , as a newly established institution, participates in various national and international platforms that can promote it and boost the institution’s externals. After a long process of evaluating Uok’s membership application, the Association of African Universities’ managing board finally issued a membership certificate to Universityof Kebri Dehar , making Uok one of eleven Ethiopian universities to join the Association.
